• The Digital Threading Control replaces traditional threading gearboxes with a microprocessor-controlled, servo-driven leadscrew. Type in the desired thread pitch on the numeric pad of the touchscreen LCD panel and start the threading cycle as on conventional lathes. This system controls and synchronizes the main spindle rotation on 2-axis feed rate to produce a precise threading cycle for any given inch or metric thread pitch. Noise and vibration are also reduced as there are no gears in the gearbox. You can thread faster than any manual lathe with this machine, plus do different and custom thread changes instantly.
